I don't know about one, but if you find it, DH would want to join (esp. when I go away for the weekend and leave him with kid(s)).

Yes there is, my DH is the president. Poor man is being left alone with 4 kids on his birthday for me to fly to Disney to scrap. LOL

Welcome to our little corner. Hey, you know we do have one guy who scraps here. His name is squid, and he is cool!

Scrubby's (scrapbooker's husband) are the best! I swear mine doesn't mind my attention elsewhere because it frees up the big screen tv for the races. :lmao:

I am sure all our spouses would join that club! DH gets left with DD when I go on a retreat. But I must say, those pages are awesome that your DW has done! TFS!

I'm sure my husband would join as well! I love the pages that your wife has made!

My husband probably wouldn't join unless it involves sports, skiing or beer! He has his own little obsessions and loves that scrapping keeps me busy enough that I don't interfere (complain about) HIS ski trips/purchases. No matter HOW much I spend scrapping, it can't compair with hi-tech ski gear!

Linda- That's how it is at my house too. My DH has his own high$$ hobbies...can't say much about mine :)

He especially likes it around bdays or Christmas...lots of little things to buy me that I will

Scrubbys. I kinda like that!

I make fun of her because she will spend hours and a whole tank of gas just to find some little trinket that costs 25 cents! And she gets really exciting over some new paper product, while all I see is that she's excited over paper. Paper!

And there's this Michaels right around the corner from my house and I hate that place. I tell my DW that Hades for me would be a Michaels with no exit for eternity. But when she goes there, it's like Norm from Cheers: everybody knows her name!

But I have no obsessions, except football and music.

(Oh, and for those who liked her pages, she work hard on them, so I'll tell her that you like them. BTW, she's not a member of this site because it will be just ANOTHER thing that she will obsess over. I'm a member because I'm a big vacation fan and we take a Disney trip at least once a year... Discruising in Sept!:beach:)

This is WDW's husband. My hobby is working two jobs so that my wife can finance her scrapbooking habit. We recently sat down with our daughters to go over the procedures to evacuate the house in an emergency. My wife has determined that the scrapbooks go first, the Cricut and other paraphenalia next, and then, IF there's room, my daughters and I get a seat in the van as well. At least I can say that she turns out fantastic pages, and puts a great deal of love and creativity into everything she does.

Welcome, brother!:lmao:

all my kids know to grab a scrapbook on the way out of the house in case of fire (I jest! LOL safety first) but my books and my photo box are strategically placed near windows. If I did have time I would pitch the books out the window before pitching myself out.

BAMB-mine are near windows too :) Of course DH was joking & we all know that he would grab the dogs first and then hope for the best as far as the scrapbooks go ;)

lol... to funny about the 'if there is fire' exit plan. Ok not so funny I guess cause I have my own.

I had DD build me a gorgeous bookshelf unit for my entryway for the sole purpose of our scrapbooks.... this way in the event of an emergency and we are exiting the home..we grab the books... :) ** Please note she asked what I would like and I told her a unit to put my books in. She then decided to do this project for her 4-H woodworking project**

Anyway, my DH would join..

Thanks for sharing her pages... they are terrific!! I especially love the Chef Mickey pages!

Anyhow, I'm sure if my DH were on the Disboards, he would lament with you. But I rarely scrap away from home and I rarely scrap at a time when he would like my attention, so all good there. Mostly it would probably just be the money spent and the obsession with all things scrapping! But he also doesn't share my Disney obsession, so you won't find him here any time soon!...............P

Isn't that the truth. For DH, it's hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. None of my scrapbooking compares in cost - and if he's gone for 10 days for a fly in fishing trip, that's really 3 - 4 weekend retreats for me (or 2 yrs worth!).

My DH knows how scrapbooking makes me happy and fishing makes him happy. I am going on my third year weekend retreat in Nov, and I just booked our first alone cruise, which happens to be a scrapbooking one, not to next Nov 2011 but DH is more excited about going than I am. He has a two week holiday coming up with he buddy, our DD18 and me at the trailer, yes fishing and my scrapbooking is being packed but I am not staying the whole time, I need alone time at home with my addiction :lovestruc SCRAPBOOKING.:lovestruc

OP sounds like my dad.... :rotfl:

...because we're talking about PAPER!

But my DW got paid on some projects and she's beginning to pay for her own supplies off of her earnings.:thumbsup2 I guess she's good because she's getting at least one new client a week.
