For those of you in a marriage where, for example, the Husband is a Cowboys fan and the Wife is an Eagles fan or the Husband is a Michigan fan and the Wife is an Ohio State fan, etc. how did you handle your kids?

Did each of you try to influence them to pick your side or did you let them choose without any "interference"?

I'm from Cleveland, DH from Pittsburgh. We lived in Pittsburgh. I've finally given up on the Browns since they hired Watson, but I hated the Steelers last long term QB who had some sexual assault issues. We're not really super fans, none of our adult kids cares much at all about pro sports in general and football in particular. I'm quite proud of that fact - we managed to raise 3 kids who don't care about watching sports. There was one year youngest was in 5th grade when the Steelers were in the superbowl and there was a lot of excitement about it at school, but her interest didn't last. She'd much rather be out doing something physical than watching sports on TV.
