This may be a question that has been answered, but my DH did the volunteer work, has a voucher, and doesn't really want to go to a park. Can I (or he with me) redeem his voucher for the figurine?
Thanks
Stephanie

they have to have a photo ID of the person with the voucher in hand---just used ours

If I'm understanding correctly...he would also have to have a multi-day pass to be eligible for the alternates...Fast pass/figurine...Right?

that's what I am asking, he doesn't like crowds and would rather not go...He was happy to do the volunteer work whether he gets anything from Disney or not...but I would sure love the figurine!:rolleyes1

Only the person whose name is on the voucher can redeem it, and it must be done in person by that person. You can't redeem someone else's voucher for them and you have to bring valid ID (per the requirements listed on the GAD site) to confirm the name on your voucher.

You can only get the alternative options if you are already holding a multi-day tix or AP when you go to redeem your voucher.

Last year for the birthday promotion, you did not have to prove that you had a multi-day ticket to receive the other options- I would believe that this would work the same way. Meaning as long as you have a voucher, a valid ID, and are the person who's voucher it is, you should be able to get whatever option you would like.

I saw someone on another thread reporting that he had to add a day to a one day pass in order to get one of the alternatives.

The person redeeming the voucher must have a valid multi-day ticket to be able to receive one of the alternate choices.

This is incorrect. You did have to show that you had a multi-day ticket to receive the options.

Whether or not a CM actually checked is a different matter.

The requirements for the GAD promotion are the same as the Birthday promotion.

There have been very recent reports here that people had to actually hand over their multi day tix/APs when redeeming their vouchers to have them "checked" for validity.

Okay! Thanks for the clarification. When we did it, they didn't ask for any proof, so I had no idea that you even needed to prove it...bad cast member LOL
