October, October where fore art thou? Please please hurry up!!

I'm starting to realize that this trip is REAL... I'm going THIS YEAR!!

Booked hoop de doo today and added the dining plan to our DVC stay..... now to wait for March to switch 1 week out for WLV (hopefully) and wait for my 180 days to book some other stuff. Can't wait to get back to WCC and have dinner at the castle with the IL's.... oh and a dole whip.... I can taste it now!!

Oh I hope October hurry's!!

When in Oct are you heading down Janet? is that when your cruise is?

We'll be there from Oct 8 to 21 1st week hopefully at WLV and 2nd week at SS. Going with the IL's.... but hey... if you have to be with the IL's what better place then Disney!?!

We will hopefully arrive late on the 20th!

The member cruise is on the Sunday and Hopefully DVC will have some events for us on the Saturday!

When do you leave on the 21st?

Not sure yet when we are leaving until I find a flight. Going to attempt flying from Buffalo this time if I can find a good deal..... unless of course YYZ drops their prices drastically

Need to find a direct flight for the FiL though b/c it's his first time and if he gets off the plane to switch and decides he doesn't like flying he won't get back on.... picture a 65yo child stomping their foot and refusing!!

I am waiting for SW to open up for October! I figure they will open sometime in May.

We'll be at SSR for the first leg of this trip.

It's a non-dairy concoction made with pineapple!

It looks like ice cream swirled with pineapple ice cream!

They also have the Dole Whip Float which I enjoyed for the first time at DL! YUM!

You can buy it in Adventureland. It's on the right hand side as you walk from the hub just before you hit Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

And I must add.... I tried one for the first time when we went in 2004 after reading about them here.... scoffed thinking I probably wouldn't like it.... pineapple ice cream. But wow... can't wait to go back for another...never had anything like it!!

The dole whip. A must do for our family. I tried to make one here and failed. I guess there is a secret to it.

Anyone know if there is anywhere else you can get one. I think outside the tree house is the only place but I hope I'm wrong.

I must admit that I have never tried a Dole Whip but I am adding it on my list of "must do's" for my April trip! Can't wait--we start double digit dancing tomorrow!

50's Prime Time ~ The PBJ Milkshake! Fried Chicken there is to die for! So is the Pot Roast! But stay away from the Chicken Puke Pie!

The Carmel Apples! I like the ones that they have at MGM?

The Pickles! They are just beyond the 1/2 Sour Mark! Lite and refreshing snack!

Earl of Sandwich at DTD. Great Samwiches at a Great Price!

Oh and Don't forget the Mickey Bar!
