Hurry help!

We have a split stay booked with my DH fave the poly for 6 nights and animal kingdom lodge for 2 nights. My dream the grand Floridian just opened up for those two nights. Hubby still says Animal kingdom lodge. Do I go against him and book the grand? I am so torn! And the longer I wait the less of a chance of the grand being available! Help! Wwyd??TIA!

I'd stick with AKV. I wasn't impressed with VGF, but I really liked AKV.

I stayed at VGF last year, thought it was beautiful. But since you are also staying at the Poly, right next door, I would stay with AKV.

Switch to the Grand .............(as long as it wont cause problems with DH !)
Its SO hard to get into, and AKV will always be available next time .
We still havent been able to get in to VGF since it opened !

Just tell DH that you REALLY want to try it .

I actually just booked a VGF standard studio for 5 nights in July at my 7 month window. I've checked many times in the past and never found availability. It's sort of a bucket list item for me... I don't own there so it is unlikely that I will ever get it again. Like you when I saw the availability I jumped at it!

I say book it!

This sounds like us! We own at AK but DH loves Poly! If GF came available I'd book it!!

I think I might have to book it! DH won't be mad at all he goes with the flow but since he's not the disney but I try to please him with the resort choice and adrs. But I think I need to book it to check it off my bucket list!

It's booked! Thank you for all of your feedback! Your comments pushed me to book it! I told DH and he says "I'll stay where ever makes you happy!" So a split stay at poly!vgf it is! I am so excited to try this resort! I was gonna try to get in next year as I made DH promise on our honeymoon he would take me there for our 10 year anniversary . We will just say we are a year early! I am so excited!

Was/Is poly unavailable? Not sure I completely understand the logic in split staying Poly/VGF. But, different strokes for different folks. Split stay AKV or an Epcot resort made more sense, to me.

Congrats! We bought VGF on our honeymoon and stayed there for the first time last March. It was beyond our expectations, absolutely gorgeous! Even though you're close at the Poly they have such different vibes I think you'll still enjoy it And if you miss AKL it's a great excuse to book some time at Boma

DH wasn't even interested in staying at akl since he feel it is so far away from mk but I kinda talked him into it. So I was surprised when he picked all over vgf! He thinks it might feel too stuffy! I think it's beautiful! I figure we have a lot of time to stay at akl since it's always available but vgf never pops up so why not check it off the list! Unless I fall in love then we may be in trouble! Haha
