Hurricanes Nightclub...

After my disappointment at finding out it had closed just wondering, has anything replaced it?

Is there much adult night life in the village at all now?

Blimey, Terrorists in Paris and now Hurricanes, you are going to have people worrying

I don't think anything has replaced Hurricanes although i could be wrong, i certainly don't recall seeing anything when i went a few weeks back.

I think we'll most likely see this become an ESPN zone. It makes the most sense. Probably happen as part of the 20th celebrations.

Still the shut down Hurricanes when we were there last week.

Very little adult targeted entertainment, if any.

Think that is what Disney wants, they shut down all the clubs at WDW DTD to make it more family orientated.

...and I still very much miss the explorers club from dtd - it was so unique!

There have been a few rumours as to what was going to replace Hurricanes.

One of them was a Jules Verne theme pub .

Another was that the Groupe Flo, the group which operates almost all of the Disney Village restaurants, was interested in opeing an Italian resturant in the location where Hurricanes was.

Dont meantion the dreaded V word!!!!

I was in a knot last year as both my trips were after the blooming thing went.
I was fortunate though

I also read about Disney wanting the parks to be 100% family orientated. Theres a bar in every hotel so we will hit the red garter saloon for our birthday drinks in march!
