We are praying for all of you at the Fort & hope the flooding, hi winds stay away. Please keep us informed on your safety. And all in the Southeast area also

Me too!!!! Hope everything is ok there! We are supposed to check in on Friday!!

Supposedly Hurricane Hermine will hit landfall as a Category 2 Hurricane. Please be safe down there. Prayers and good thoughts/vibes to everyone there.

Ditto what FoE says.

This morning's forecast for Lake Buena Vista says rain-rain-rain and gusts of wind up to 36mph. Into the weekend the wind will drop down.

Remember to slant that awning to shed the rain and secure it well. Or better yet just roll it up and store it away.

Maybe this means the park attendance will be lower and the locals will stay at home.

In Tampa, it's not bad at all. Not even raining just cloudy. Not even wind gusts yet. It's really not supposed to bad at all. If course I been through many and this is NOTHING. A good Florida thunderstorm is worse and the wind gusts are non existing so far. Orlando being more East will get about what we are just later...

I check in tomorrow. Hope the weather clears up. We are sleeping in Tents! My buddy is there now. There was alot of rain yesterday.

We've camped in rain like this. Make sure your footprint tarp is the exact size of the tent and you have extra tie downs on the rain fly and the rest of the tent. Also, have fully charged phones. It makes for a cool night!

Still nothing in Tampa.... Just cloudy. No rain and no real wind either. Yesterday was alot of rain, rain rain and more rain. Glad it stopped for today so far so it can soak up before more hits us :)

I would wait until as late in the day as you can to start setting up the tent. But after 6 am here in Tampa its alot better now. The feeder band is hitting Tampa and Orlando pretty bad this AM. But lets hope its goes quick and breaks up fast :) Been thru alot worse but it does always makes me nervous when the bad bands go thru.

I'm not getting there until about 6:30 to 7:00 pm. We picked up extra tarps. Now my son an I are sick. No stopping this trip.

By then most of this will have passed. Just as long as she does not stall. I doubt she will now, so yes by then she should be in Georgia, which I hope does not effect your driving too badly. Safe travels and ELDERBERRY is a great natural antivirus that helps get over sickness quickly!
