I am sending all my DVC friends who are in the path of the hurricane my prayers for a safe day. Hopefully it will not be as bad as predicted. May God watch over you all.

Hi,

Pixie Dust for those on the coast!! Mom & I are just seeing clouds & wind where we are inland.

ok, the sand bags are stacked. the tubs are full of water. the candles are gathered......

of course DH is 90 miles away working at a client site and my son is out playing. but I guess were ready.

100 or so miles inland and this is what we are having to do. Sheesh.

WVL5, watch the roports closely, before heading towards DC. The potomac is going to be a big porblem and you will have to cross it.

Well we are 40 minutes north of VA beach and holding strong so far. Got power and internet :D The wind is pretty strong and we just moved to a "safer" part of the house (we have big trees right outside our bedroom). So far no flooding but lots of rain. Luckly the hurricane seems to be loosing some power as it hit NC obx.

Keep Safe!
Melissa

Being from the New Orleans area I know just what the east coast is going through. My prayers and pixie dust are with you and your loved ones that you are able to ride this one out. The silver lining in all of this is the storm is not a Cat 4 or 5.

May God watch over you and your families.

Sending prayers and pixie dust! Be safe!

No need to go to the tropics for vacation this year....

They deliver! :(

Stay safe...batten down the hatches...er... head for high ground.

Good luck.

My dad lives a few miles from Morehead City, NC where it is potentially coming ashore....they lost power at 7:30am and by 9:30 the winds were above 45 mph.....Talk for a brief few minutes on cell this am....plan on checking in tonight to see how they faired....

Here we are on the Chesapeake Bay about 40 minutes south of Annapolis. Wind gusts are up to 30 mph already with heavy rain. Heading to the basement for cover. TTFN :(

Pixie dust to those of you in NC, VA, MD, and DC. We're in central Jersey and they're calling for a lot of rain and some wind, but we should be spared the brunt of it. Very windy here now but no rain yet.

We're just south of Philadelphia and the wind is starting to pick up and we have some rain. We aren't suppose to get it to bad here. West of our area is going to get hit harder and they already are soaked from the last rain storm we had. Our prayers are with everyone during this hurricane.
