Uh oh! Just saw the reports of Igor and Julia in the Atlantic. We leave next Tuesday. Hoping it doesn't affect us getting there. Once we are there....no problems for me! ;)

I had similar fears a few days ago, but the patterns have shifted considerably. You should re-check the reports and reliable weather sites, such as: http://www.stormpulse.com/. While a potential a few days ago, the chances of them hitting land are virtually nil. No worries!

Good for you, but the key question is...

How is it pronounced?

Is it "EEEgore" or "EYEgore"?

FWIW, if there's a good sized storm in the Atlantic and it's not going to impact Florida, I find that it still takes a lot of moisture and humidy out of the air at WDW. Those days seem to be nice and dry, not so hot and sticky.

We had Earl a couple of weeks ago, no humidity and little rain for a few days.

Guess you didnt look at any of the tracks.. Both those will be heading back to sea not even close to the coast by sunday / monday

Please, anyone who is looking at any hurricanes, please, please, please go here - http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ - before you start to panic. Scroll down to whatever system you are concerned about and click on the Warnings/Cones/Static Images. That will show you the projected path, as well as the dates and times for that projected path. As mentioned by dburg30, neither one of these two storms is going to be anywhere near land at all.

This site is the National Hurricane Center and they are spot on with storms. Spot on. Directly spot on. So don't panic until you check out the site first. Thank you.

I'm not worried, except for it having any impact on our flights. We have braved the rain before, no problem there. Like I said, I just want to get there! I have seen the tracking....and understand how it works. But it can always shift, or cause lots of rain.

Actually it's pronounced EYE-gor.
:lmao:
couldn't help myself.

Jennasis : This is COMPLETELY off topic, but I have to tell you, everytime I see the pic you have of the baby in the helmet "Get to the Choppa" it KILLS ME!! it's the funniest thing ! I laugh out loud everytime I see you post. :lmao: anyway, I just had to tell you because many a day that picture has brightened my day.....

Okay, carry on with topic... sorry....
