Hi, guys. I just got home from school to only find that Hurricane Rina is turning around. The cone is showing part may come to Florida as a Cat 1 or 2 and I am so freaking nervous.
Why? Well I'm a lilapsophobe.
I like heavy, flooding rain because I live on a hill, but I am afraid of wind and terrified of.... (whispers) tornadoes.
I've been like it for a while, and the day of that system that shoulda been named was horrible for me.
I'm a scared cuz:
1. They say IT has strong circulation
2. Look at that danged forecast map
3. My dad refuses to put up shields
4. My last H-cane experience was in, like, 2007.
5. I don't have a basement!

Guys, this is super-major. I mean, October Hurricanes are kinda rare, but when they occur, they can be severe. Besides, those idiots named in Rina. Rina! Holy snot! The last "rina" was
KATRINA!!!!!!!!!!
I know I sound like a total baby to all you Irene survivors and Tornado Alley (coughs *heck*) residents, but I need help. Just some words of comfort, or some of your storm stories. Thanks.
