Hurricane Hannah's Question

I am staying at the Beach Club in December. I have heard that Hurricane Hannah's is closed during the winter months. Is that true? Or is it just closed at night?

Please help. I am trying to plan my dining schedule for budget purposes and if Hurricane Hannah's is open then we can save some money by eating there for lunch instead of Beaches & Cream on at least one day.

I remember a January trip some years ago when it was closed. However, I thought it was open a couple of years ago right before Christmas? It may be that it closes during slow times in winter months but is open during busy times like Christmas.

Hopefully, someone with a more definitive answer will be along.

Was closed during our Dec 17-23 visit in '03 - HOWEVER, it was bitter cold and very few folks were even walking around the pools much less swimming. I bet if the weather is warm they will be open. We are returning this year for the same dates and hoping for warmer weather!!

We stayed at the BC Jan. 02 and Hurricane Hanna's was open. I remember getting my mug filled there at least once.

We stayed at the BC this past January (over MLK week) and Hurricane Hannah's was open every afternoon we were at the pool.

I have a feeling their hours are tied to the weather, because we were there Dec. 6-15, '03 and Hurricane Hannah's was open every day . . . or at least every time we went there to get something to eat. It must have turned "bitter cold" right after we left.

I hope you have better weather this time. If not, you'll have to just keep going back until you do.
