The first rule of going to Disney is always bring good rain gear.
Correction, people who live in FLORIDA don't evacuate for hurricanes.
You are smarter to push to after. More likely to have flights canceled in advance of the storm.Debating moving my arrival up a day to Sunday instead of Monday if I can, which--as far as I can tell--would definitely put me in the area ahead of the hurricane. Hunkering down at the Dolphin sounds sort of fun...
If it says on course and hits Orlando as a cat 3 that’s no joke. If you’re able to postpone your trip to avoid the hurricane I wouldSo I am wondering....how many are coming in and weathering the storm and how many are cancelling and coming after? Cant decide best course of action.

Not true. We live on Marco Island and evacuated for Irma. The island was told to evacuate. Irma made landfall on Marco Island.Correction, people who live in FLORIDA don't evacuate for hurricanes.
Is Disney understanding with moving tickets and/or ticketed events around due to weather issues?
If they can. Otherwise it's a refund. Is Disney understanding with moving tickets and/or ticketed events around due to weather issues?
You’re always safer not in the path of a hurricane. Disney’s safe, another state is safer. Another factor would be how fast this thing is supposed to move through. I’m a native Floridian. Riding it out for 6-8 hours is actually sort of interesting, but when they linger, it’s totally miserable.I'm a non-flyer (Amtrak or bust) so I'm not sure if before or after is better. After sounds safer though!

So will they give refunds for both Monday’s MNSSHP and the fireworks dessert party if they are cancelled automatically or do you have to fight for it?
