We just returned from a wonderful trip to the World, and while we've flown JetBlue before this was the first time we had the option to pay more for the upgrade to the extra legroom seats. WOW! What a difference!!
DS, 11, hates flying and has had problems with airsickness. We finally figured out that it's because he gets stressed/panicked over a feeling of claustrophobia. Dramamine helps, but it's hard to have him (at nearly 5' tall) sprawled across DH's and my laps, etc. With the extra room around us, DS felt much more comfortable and at ease, he could stretch out easily, and it just made the entire flight that much more enjoyable. How nice to be able to have the person in front of me put his seat back without feeling like I should be doing dental work on him
!
If you can manage the extra $, go for it!! The other nice thing is that the seats are in the front of the plane, so you're first to get off. Really lovely.
