Hurrah, My Mum and Dad are coming to Florida

regarding travel medical insurance...i don't know if you have this in the UK, but when we travel, we always buy the kind of medical insurance that has medivac....that is, they'll put us in a special medical plane with a doctor if needed, to get us back home....that gives us the peace of mind we need...
perhaps if your father had that, he wouldn't fret about being stuck in the US with a heart attack..

as far as parents joining in....my mom joined us for the second time this summer.....this summer she was with us for her 78th birthday....3 years ago she came with us for her 75th birthday....
in spite of the fact that she makes terrible fun of us and all of our trips to WDW, she had a truly grand time....everything was wonderful and the CMs were as sweet as can be about her birthday...

and this year, for the first time, my sister broke down and came down to be with us for a few days as well....and even she, the lifelong hater of all things disney, loved every minute of it!!!

We went last year with my mum and dad and DH's dad. We were so worried before we went that they wouldn't enjoy themselves. But I can honestly say they had a ball. I did find it a bit stressful for the first few days because I was worrying that they were O.K but it was all unnecessary. I'm sure they'll love it.

As for medical insurance, we had a bit of a problem with my FIL as he has all sorts of medical conditions. We were given all kinds of silly quotes, however, we found Age Concern to be about the best.
