I am knocking on wood while I am typing this but....
I am curious as to how the Fort handles huricanes and the guests/campers at the Fort? We will be there Sept 14-21st which is still huricane season right?
I have read posts on the other boards and understand that WDW is very good to the guests durring these times.
Guess I would be a little worried about being in the camper should trees start falling and such!
Altough it would make an exciting ride!

We have two large dogs and I was thinking -- what will we do if a hurricane comes? I don't want to leave my dogs anywhere!
the hurricanes are most numerous stating mid August to mid October, but they have been known to hit before, during and after the dates Gatordad posted. Disney takes very good care of their guests during a crisis situation. I remember running the generator (when we were out of power for 29 days) and reading on the boards how good they were being. I was so impressed, I left everything here and went up there to cool off in one of their rooms!)
