Hi Clarab . Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Hopefully someone can chip in with comments about the restaurant :thumbsup2

We ate here last week and thought out of the 3 buffets we ate at (Hunters Grill, Rendez Vous des Stars and Agrabah Cafe) this was by far the best and had a huuuuge variety of food.

We found something to suit everyone which is really hard in our family. OH will eat absolutely anything, as will youngest DD, but DD1 and DS are very fussy and I don't eat much meat, especially when abroad. We all managed to have a very filling meal here though.

I don't know what there were for starters, but for mains, there was pasta, lasagne, chicken nuggets, loads of different salads, snails, pizzas, shepherds pie, oh I can't even remember what else :rotfl: but sooo much more, there really was loads.

Desserts included jellies, chocolate mousse, fruit salad, fruit pies and all sorts of other things.

It's also a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It was really quite busy when we ate here, but it wasn't too loud and there wasn't any scrums to get in at the food. Overall a really enjoyable meal.

I'm sure you'll all love it, enjoy!! :thumbsup2

Are you staying at the Sequia Lodge? You'll have a lovely time, here's hoping that the parks are empty (I'll be there at the same time as you with my son, staying in the Cheyenne)

Not eaten there since it became buffet. Not really a buffet person! I can tell you it used to be a great restaurant though, used to be able to see them cooking all the meat on a huge grill as you walked past. Used to do a great mixed grill in there, massive skewer with loads of gorgeous meat on it. Mmm...

Thank you all for your replies, feel happy now that have made the correct decision.

Yes am staying at th SQ for our whole stay!!!!!!!

Really dont know how to control my excitement until then  . Have seen a book on Amazon for £6.99 (hints & tips) has anyone got/read this?? Worth buying?

Is it the Brit's Guide by Simon and Susan Veness? If so, yes it's well worth the money and an excellent book to read especially before a first visit. :)
