Hunters Grill or Beaver Creek Tavern

We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge so plan to have dinner in one of their restaurants and wondered what one people would recommend.

Are they both buffets? If so, what is the difference between the two?

Hunters Grill is a full buffet for everyone, Beaver Creek tavern is a full buffet for kids, but for adults you have several choices. Your main course you order from a menu, you can then add a starter buffet, or a dessert buffet, or both (or neither) its up to you . I really enjoyed my meal at the Beavers Creek, thought it was very good value indeed.

I agree with Elaine, we ate at Beavers Creek Tavern and I thought it was good value for money. DD could eat from the children's buffet and I liked being able to choose my main course whilst sampling the many choices the dessert buffet offered! The starter buffet looked good too and DD had some of that too.

We didn't eat in Hunters Grill as a full buffet didn't appeal but I am sure that it would be lovely too.

We are planning a to go back to Beavers Creek on our next trip!

I ate at the Hunter Grill and loved it! It's definitely on my list again as my DD was over the moon with the jacket potato!

I thought they had a great selection of mains, I get bored eating the same thing and thought it was great I could mix fish and meat on the same plate LOL! I really enjoyed it and it was cheap with my shareholders discount, and I felt fully satisfied with my meal

We really enjoyed the meal we had in hunters grill especially the desserts! Beaver Creek was on our possibles list this year but unfortunately there just weren't enough meals

Thank you for all your replies. We have decided to book the Beavers Creek Tavern since they have a kids buffet. If we have enough time and meals we will hopefully try the Hunters Grill too.
