On Sunday night we called transportation line and asked what time we should catch the bus to make our 8:05 ressies at Crystal Palace (park opening time 9:00). They told us to show up around 40 minutes early, but my DH let me sleep in and we showed up for the buses at 7:30. Bad move. Another MK bus didn't come until 8:10 despite two buses showing up for every other park.

My plans for eating breakfast leisurely and then being right up front to enter the park were squashed. Thankfully they were still able to seat us.
No pictures of food here but here's DH with Pooh, who was soooooo excited to see newlyweds.
I'm not a huge breakfast person but I did enjoy this as did DH, who is a huge fan of breakfast. We thought the food quality was very good, much better than a Shoney's or another similar type of breakfast buffet. The fruit was tasty and fresh. I liked the potato casserole, breakfast pizza, biscuits, and fruit. I did not like the waffles at all though. They seemed kind of underdone on the inside. Character interaction seemed to go kind of slowly. From parents complaining on both sides of this I got the impression that the characters were coming around kind of slow. Maybe people were just in a rush like us? In any event we only got face time with Pooh although Tiger did pat DH on the back as he went through the parade.
We ate so much at breakfast and slept from 12:30-3:30 so we didn't have another meal until our dinner at Kona. We didn't know Kona didn't open until 5:00 and got there a little early. They gave us a buzzer and we headed over to the Tambu Lounge. DH just had to have the lapu lapu, while I had the Tropical Macaw (I think?). The bartender was very friendly and the drinks were delicious and strong.
Although it was cool to look around the Poly, the ambiance at Kona isn't much. That being said, food wise, in a week full of excellent meals, Kona was both mine and DH's absolute favorite restaurant. We started off with the sticky wings. I had seen pictures and reviews on here of these and although I normally wouldn't have had an appetizer I decided I had to try these. Sooo deliciously good! I loved the mustard sauce they put on these. Next, I had the tuna oscar. That yellow stuff is wasabi hollandaise and was pretty much my new favorite sauce. I pictured the tempura-fried jumbo lump crab being larger but it was good.
DH had the teriyaki style New York strip steak which was covered in pineapple (yum!) and a sauce similar to the sauce on the sticky wings but sweeter. We both had berry smoothies with our meal. I forgot to mention, the bread with macadamia nut butter. What can I say but

. Seriously, it might be the best bread and butter I've ever eaten and I love bread.
They brought out this adorable dessert for us since we were on our honeymoon. It took us awhile to realize that the Lilo and Stitch design was actually made out of chocolate. I'm sure they must have stencils or something to make it but we were really impressed with the artistry. We were only able to have a few bites because our regular desserts came out a few minutes later. I got the chocolate banana creme brulee while DH had the Kilauea Torte. Again, beyond delicious. We were totally satisfied with this meal and plan to go back there on our next trip.
