Well, all my questions are answered in the new Disneyland Blog today. Check it out....

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/

While listening to another great DL podcast I heard mention of a possible new menu at Hungry Bear. I did a little google search and found this discussion of new menu items....

Some of the new menu items at Hungry Bear will include Chili Burgers, Fried Green Tomato Sandwiches, Big Al's Chicken Salad among others. Sweet Potato Fries and a Bumble Bee Lemon Cupcakes will also be introduced.

Is the restaurant still scheduled to open tomorrow? If so, I would love someone to report back with a review. This restaurant is always a good place to hide from the crowds.

TIA

Not to mention a GREAT place to see the beautiful cats! :)

They have such beautiful cats in and around that area, especially in the bottom section, just beyond the seating area.... you can sometimes coax a semi-wild cat to come over to you (more often not though) and, it is so weird and cool when they do come over to you and you can pet them. Disney apparently likes them to be around so they get rid of mice (NOT Mickey!! They are well trained to never go near The Mouse.) But anyway, when we are away from home and miss our cats dearly, it is a nice, quiet break away from everything to look at the lovely cats, if you are lucky enough to see some of them.

Ahhh cool! will have to try and see them NEXT WEEK! :cool1:

My kids played with the cats for a while and got all scratched up. I don't know how because they didn't say they were getting scratched at the time. I was scared the scratches would get infected but they didn't.

I do like to eat at the Hungry Bear and watch the Mark Twain go by. My kids like to feed the ducks.

I want the mini blueberry pie...
