Hungry Bear Fantasmic On-the-Go Package Menu Changes

I don't know when it happened, but I just noticed they made changes to the menu. The salmon and chicken are still on the menu, but now there is St. Louis-style BBQ ribs instead of blackberry BBQ riblettes and plant-based skewers instead of mushroom & leek frittata.

Entrees are now served with mashed potatoes, cornbread, and honey-glazed carrots instead of the kale salad and rice medley. Lastly, prices remain the same, but from reading the website it looks like the meal no longer comes with a drink.

Personally, I like this menu better. I did the on-the-go dining package when it first came out and wasn't quite satisfied with it.

I did the Hungry Bear Fantasmic package on Tuesday June 24 and we were offered the new menu. This pleased me as I liked the new options better than the old, I was actually planning to get the chicken sandwich from the regular menu. My husband and I both had the St. Louis-style ribs and we thought they were pretty solid for theme park ribs (my husband is a bit of a ribs snob) but a little over sauced for both of us. The mashed potatoes were good and the cornbread was decent (I don't really like cornbread). I was excited for the carrots but they were pretty hard. In general though this was a good meal and still felt like a value compared to other Fantasmic packages.

The top section of the menu linked is Seasonal Offerings and right under that is a section that says Fantasmic! On-the-go Package. Its more of a summary of options in a single listing- one for child and one for adult. The list does say "beverage".

I wonder if they gave up on the Blue Sky Soda cans that used to be the default beverage option for the F! package (though just like the entrees you could order a regular soda from the menu as well).

Thanks for posting...kids will be much happier with this menu. None are a fan of rice or kale salad. Carrots and potatoes all the way!

I thought I remember reading that the Hungry Bear Fantasmic meals were served cold. With mashed potatoes as one of the sides now, I'm hoping those are served warm. Were the mashed potatoes and carrots warm? Is the entree now served warm or cold?

No, you need to pay the adult price, but you can order off of the regular menu (for the package price).

Yes a beverage was included. My husband got a Coke and I got a Diet Coke.

I did not love it. It was way too sweet and there was very little meat on the bones.
