Does anyone know if there is anything related to The Hunchback of Notre Dame at DLRP? It is my 2nd favourite Disney film (after Beauty and the Beast) and my daughters love it too. It seems only natural that the Paris DL would have something on Notre Dame!

I realise that there is a theme in my Disney film tastes...:)

No there is nothing I am afraid

A great shame, I love the film too. Sometimes you can see the character Frollo.

We are just back and met three characters from the film near Casey Junior and the storybook cruise

Esmerelda , Phoebus and Sarousch from part II (not sure if that's spelled properly LOL)

I'm glad that they at least have the characters! My DD(4) thinks she is Esmerelda and shakes her imaginary tambourine while she twirls to the music. I must admit to joining in occasionally...

I have to say that is the first time we'd seen them. I have seen Frollo before but never any of the others. We quite often find odd characters you don't see anywhere else near these two rides . We met Tweedledum and Dee there last time and also saw Alice and The Mad Hatter there this time too. (My DD is a Casey Junior addict :goodvibes )

It's amazing that there is a Disney film set in Paris and they don't make more of it. I love this film and for years I've been searching for merchandise and when I was there last year I managed to get an resin figurine of Quasimodo in the collectors shop in Disney Village, it was pricey but worth every penny!

Counting down the days now to our next trip at Christmas!:yay:

Yes, that's exactly what I thought - it makes sense to showcase something to do with Notre Dame! I managed to get a mood necklace featuring Esmerelda from DLPR. I bought it off eBay. I've also seen her fancy dress but it was too big for my DD. DLRP has really missed an opportunity with The Hunchback.:confused3

When we went in '96 (I believe) the parade that year was focussed on the Hunchback - they even had live kid goats which they let the children lead around. Will try and dig out some of my pics of it and scan them in.

The 5th Anniversary was celebrated with a Hunchback of Notre Dame theme, and I'm always surprised that there is nothing for Hunchback or The Aristocats at DLRP, as previous posters mentioned though we did meet Esmerelda last year. :goodvibes

Of course, the Aristocats should be featured too! You would think there would be something for Hunchback. There is so much in the film that lends itself to rides, restaurants, a 'town square', anything in fact!
