My DH thinks I'm crazy. I think this is quite possible. Am I crazy?

MGM open 9-7 Wed. Dec. 4 (Me, DH, 3 DD)

Thinking of this:

Arrive around 1-1:30 Other half of day at AK

Get TOT fastpasses (3 of them)
See 2:15 Beauty & Beast show
Ride TOT using baby swap
Get Muppet fastpasses
Watch 3:30 parade
Play on Honey I shrunk the kids playground & see Muppetvision until Muppet show
See Little Mermaid
Get fastpasses for RNR
Grab something to eat while waiting for Fantasmic
Ride RNR (DH and I take turns running over and riding)
Watch Fantasmic and leave park totally fulfilled!! LOL

Possible? Probable?

WOW!!! I'm really tired now just from reading your itinerary!
Anything is possible, but do you HAVE to do it all??? :p

We don't have to do it all.

Gee, I thought these were just a few favorites. LOL

O.K., so I must be crazy. What can I say. I'm a SAHM whose in desperate need of a vacation. I know we can't do it all. But if we can, I want to be prepared. LOL

Seriously, the two big things that I don't want to miss are B&B and Little Mermaid for my girls. If I could do TOT also, then I would be happy. Love that TOT. I hope our 8 yr old tries it this yr.

It could be doable. Just make sure your daughters (and you) understand you might not get to everything. That way noone gets too disappointed.

One suggestion. Get your next FP before using the first FP. For example, before riding TOT get the Muppet FP. This will start the waiting time on the next FP before going on the first ride.

Good luck and have fun.

Definitely doable suebo, as long as you and DH don't need to breathe! :rotfl: <jk>

Seriously though, since you've got roughly six hours, it's doable.
And don't you just love baby :duck: ?

Mike :wave2:

I think it sounds doable, but be prepared to adjust your schedule. I am a 'schedule' person too, and have found that they do not always work at WDW do to longer lines, getting hungry at times other than what I 'planned' (how dare they! ;) ). So I would go into the park with the plan, but be flexible about completing it.

One problem might be Little Mermaid! I know when we were there January/Feb at a very slow time, the lines for Little Mermaid were the longest! I think they have Fastpass for Mermaid now, so you might want to use that facility.

I think you are cutting it close - I don't think you give yourself enough time to ride TOT twice - which is what you are doing with a Baby Swap. If the B&B show is at 2:15 - and lasts 20-25 minutes. That's 2:45ish before you get to TOT - IF your FP is ready. It takes about 20 minutes to get through the attraction - even with a FP. (Preshow, inside lines, actual ride time...) You will be pushing it to get a spot for the 3:30 Parade.

The other thing that might throw you off would be if the FP time for TOT is longer than anticipated - Sometimes it is a couple of hours later. If it is, you may have a problem getting the other FPs that you want, when you want them.

Also, I would probably suggest checking the FastPass time for Little Mermaid after you plan on riding TOT. I think it would probably be better to get a FP for Little Mermaid and wait in line for MuppetVision. (And Little Mermaid is more on the way to Muppetvision than vice-versa - every step counts!)

---One suggestion. Get your next FP before using the first FP. For example, before riding TOT get the Muppet FP. This will start the waiting time on the next FP before going on the first ride.--

This is usually a good suggestion - but Muppet and TOT on opposite sides of the park! You would waste a lot of time walking back and forth!

You'll probably be able to do most of it. The Little Mermaid may be a problem. It's very popular and lines are extremely long. Worth a try though! Good Luck!::MinnieMo

You've got to have goals, right?!?! I'd say it's doable.

We were at MGM two weeks ago today and we were surprised how long it took to ride TOT, even with a FP. I guess it's because only one of the two elevator shafts is currently running. We did child swap too and it took close to an hour for DW and I to both ride.

As others have mentioned, Little Mermaid needs the FP and you won't need it for muppets right after the parade. Grab a FP for LM on your way over to your parade spot ( I reccommend near Star Tours) then experience muppets after parade, you will only wait for the next show to start, promise :).

I see you got fastpasses for Muppets, but when are you seeing them? I've always had a bad time getting things timed well at MGM. This last trip, my son had to pee every five minutes and twice we missed out on some show or the line got really long while we waited for him. But, good luck!

sters,

Guess what? My daughter has to pee alot too. Drives me crazy!!! I forgot about that. When she has to go, the youngest chimes in and has to go also. We spend lots of time in the bathroom.

strawberryblonde, Tink61, IndyJammer, UKAnnie,

Things become much clearer when you bounce ideas off others. You are right- Little Mermaid always has a big wait and I don't want to miss it. I will get fastpasses for this and not Muppets. I would not be upset if I missed Muppets but I would cry if I missed Ariel. (My girls all love Ariel)

IndyJammer and XStAnt,

I didn't know you could get more than one fastpass at a time. I'll do that to save more time. Thanks.

As for TOT - thanks for the input. I didn't plan on spending an hour there. Sure hate to miss it though. I've never seen the preshow (did babyswap 2 yrs ago) and didn't realize it would take so long for us both to ride. Maybewe'll skip the Muppets and left hand side of the park and catch the parade closer to the middle or end and concentrate on the shows and maybe TOT and RNR if it fits in. After all, we are there for the kids, right. LOL I must remind myself of this. Oh, how I love TOT!! Wish us luck. I'll report when I get back.
