ok I cant afford a humidifier but need more humidity in the house. ITS way to dry in here (sinius issues). So what do i do?

put bowls or vases of water everywhere and keep one beside your bed with cold water.

You can also use a saline gel or nose spray to help keep your sinuses moist. I use the saline gel at night before bed so I can breathe.

we used to roll up newspapers and put them in a coffee can/container of water near the heat vent on the floor..trick my dad used to do.

Might try the heat vent thing. How important is the newspaper? I have two cats (who would just think, OH mom put out more water bowls). i do use the nose spray but sometimes it dosent cut it (like this afternoon before my two hour OOPS nap)
