Hulk or Kraken

For those of you who have been to Seaworld. Do you prefer Hulk or Kraken?

Kraken is a VERY close second.
Both are awesome!!!
HULK wins due to the launch, but the floorless of Kraken makes it pretty cool also.

I like Kraken, but the floorless part didn't really impress me that much, and even right after riding it, I felt Hulk was better.

Kraken is still one of the best coasters I've ridden, though

I agree with Tony M. It's hard to beat the launch on the Hulk, but Kraken is GREAT. The ride is longer and the climbs are higher. I also loved the sensation of going floorless.

Hulk without a doubt. Kraken is neat with that floorless thing going on but you can't beat that launch on Hulk.

Wow, Tuck's list is pretty much how I see it too -- though it bears noting that it's just a Central Florida list. The only missing coaster there is Old Town's Windstorm (okay, they have a kiddie dragon coaster too -- at least they used to) which I would probably rank right after Primeval Whirl towards the bottom of the list.

That said, if you ever get a chance to ride Dania Beach Hurricane down in South Florida you'd probably rank it higher than Gwazi (and Gwazi higher than the wood at Miracle Strip up in the panhandle). Sadly, that's about it for coasters OUTSIDE of Central Florida.

Actually, there are a few other coasters in Florida...

Starliner (Panama City, FL)
Flying Dragon (King Richard's Park, Naples, FL)
Comet (Bradenton, FL)
And the almightly Dragon Wagon at a Flea Market in Pt. Charlotte, FL

Barry, cool! Actually, the Starliner IS the wood coaster at Miracle Strip that I was referring to. I wouldn't bother with any of the "dragons" since they're all dragon wheels. There's one down in the Swap Shop in Fort Lauderdale (at least it used to be there).

Never heard of the "Comet" at Bradenton, though. Still, I don't think you'd be in a hurry to make it #101 for your Barry, right?

P.S. -- I'm going to take in Top Thrill Dragster next month!

I like Hulk, but it is aging very poorly. The launch gives it some points, but I will take the far smoother Kraken any day.

Kraken. Even though Hulk has the launch, Kraken gives a better overall ride.

Another vote for Kraken....I like the airtime I get on Kraken and that first drop is a killer!!

I like the Hulk launch also, but you get the best effects of the ride in the front and back...the middle just isnt as good.
