Helping Hula really did pay off for me she also said she is trying to get the ears to be tradeable and trying to open a room where we can trade them. I can't see the room working as there will be a lot of guests or beggers and I would rather give to friends.

Her trying to open a room where we can trade them leads me to this thought:
You go into Host room and say you have extra ears you want to gift. You have to tell host who and they will take ears out of your inventory and place them in the other person's inventory. This means, it can only be people on your friends list as you cannot say other people's names in vmk. Unless they are in the same room with you.
But, trying to get the right two people in the room at the same time may be difficult.
More scams.
I can see it now
Trade me the item's and ill gift you the ears - runs off -
or
gift me the ears and ill trade you the items - runs off -
1 Player is left with nothing.
This kind of thing will always happen. It's sad. But action can't be taken against anyone until after the fact.
I say just make them tradeable. Yes, people will be scammed trying to get them. This is an unfortunate fact. But, what's better? A person who has more than one that can't be traded and is sad about that? Or a person who wants them can get them through a trade and thus is very happy? A person won't trade more than what they think they are worth to them.
I don't really see how these items are any different than any other Host item. Hosts were told where to go and what to give. It's not as if they were personal gifts chosen by the Hosts to give to us personally. It was luck of the draw. And, fact is, in the parks, you can give, trade or sell away any item you get from the Dream Squad.
Personally, I have 2 sets that will gift, 1 to my Godson who didn't get any and 1 to a DIS person/kid.
