Huge savings this September at Windsor Hills resort

I hope this goes in the bugget board and not the resort board....

Anyway, we found out that the pool at the Windsor Hills resort is closing for maintenance for the month of September. They do have a deal with Mystic Dunes, right next door, for renters to use that pool, and they provide a shuttle.

Anyway, because of this we were able to book a 3 bedroom there for about 1/3 the usual price. ($650 all in for 12 nights!) We've never stayed there but it looks pretty upscale, and you really can't beat the location. We did stay at Westgate next door way back, and the drive onto Disney property was very short, pretty much one light at Sherberth (sp?) road and you're there. 5 mins, max.

We put in a request on the their website and got quite a few responses. Sadly some owners still tried to charge full price and did not mention the pool being closed, but several did and gave a steep discount so we had a couple really good deals to choose from.

It's short notice, but if anyone is planning to do a budget trip in September, or just likes to shop the last minute deals like we do, this is a great option. I never dreamed we be staying in so nice a resort or so close to Disney for that price.

us too..$310 total. A full week, 2 bedrooms /2 bathrooms and full kitchen for less than 1 night deluxe/on-site for 4 adults? on our way!

We used **************************, filled out the form and it gets sent to all the owners. We got lots of reply's, and they are still coming in. Maybe one in 3 or 4 is heavily discounted, either because the owners don't know about the pool or don't care.

Stayed there several times and loved it. If u rent a house u may have a private pool so the pool being closed won't affect u.
