I am SO not climbing up on a chair to kill him. If he wants me to put him out of my misery, he's going to have to come down here, so I can squish the living snot out of him.
I hate spiders!!!!

I keep telling you all:

Vaccuum and duct tape. Vaccuum the little sucker up, duct tape the top of the vaccuum hose so he can't crawl back out, and wait for someone else to come home and empty the vaccuum.

Works EVERY time. And DH just at me.

Yeah, you touched on my fear perfectly. I'm afraid of heights anyway, but add that to spider falling on my face, I'll be a basket case!!!

My brother took care of spiders with a can of lysol spray and a lighter (think James Bond and the cobra)

Somehow, I don't think that would be a good idea inside the house, however.

do you have a dog? My dog - god this is bad - loves to play with spiders (moths/flies/bees if we're aren't watching her) - bat them around like a cat - pounce and eat them.

she's such a nut - i just swat the offenders down and let her deal with them!

(i hear you though about spiders - I hate the rain - always makes them show up more often inside my house - blech!)

I have to share a funny story with you!
I had a spider walking across my ceiling, so I got the broom, and knocked it down. Well, do you think I could see where it went?
About an hour later, I took a drink of my kool aid on the counter.

Guess what

The spider had drowned in my drink and I got him in my mouth!
Yes, gross and didn't I spit everything out quickly. Ever tasted a spider before!!!

I don't recommend it. I can't even describe what it felt like!
