Just got back a week ago Saturday. I noticed my AP expires Sept 25th. Soo of course I have to plan another trip before it expires. So I check hotel rates for next Sept and found the Del Sol for $52 night so I snag it! My husband thinks I'm NUTS! YOU JUST GOT BACK!! Umm yah and your POINT IS WHAT?? It's not like I've paid anythign but it's nice to have something booked at a dirt cheap rate right??

anyone else plan SOOO FAR in advance besides me??

it's fun!! :cloud9:

haha, say you forgot to ride something...

I went to universal twice already. went last last thurs and then went last wed. My friend already went last last thurs, last Mon, AND last Wed. Hahaha... were all crazy... yaaaaaay! :P

make your money worth it!

Well I have been planning this trip for over a year already and we don't go for another 8 months! So I guess you could say I plan far in advance!

We started planning our upcoming trip during the ride home last May. But DH is addicted as I am. Have fun.

I suspect that most of us here would think your Hubby is NUTS. Of course its perfectly normal to plan another Disney trip so soon. In fact, it may make sense to plan more than one - got to make that AP pay off.

Note: The above was said only half in jest. We plan several trips a year (WDW for us) and love it.

Hubby and I own the crazy train

We live in AZ.. We went in August, went last weekend (got back tuesday) and are headed back out Jan 1.. then going back in March

Intervention?

No, you are not crazy. I'm an overplanner to, and am planning a trip to DL for Jan/Feb 09. It's fun to overplan, as it gives you to something to look forward to, and plan towards. And if planning for a trip 9 months from now makes your husband think you are crazy, then I must be nuts!! Congrats on snagging such a great deal on the hotel. Hubby may question your sanity now, but closer to the trip, he'll thankyou.

Right now I am having a Disboards planning smorgasboard. We are going to DLR in Feburary, but I am also planning our WDW/DCL trip for May of 2009. A looooong time away! But planning two Disney trips at once? I am in heaven!

YEP! Crazy here too! :rolleyes1 Just got back from the family trip last month, and planning another "girls only" trip for late 2008! Can't wait!:woohoo:

Granted I am a reasonable drive away, But I went 29 times on my 06-07 AP. This year I am going a little less though.

I cant say I have gone as far as actually purchasing, but I have totally come home from several Disneyland trips to look for another package or cheap rate to go back. In a way the impulse was there. Good for you though to get it done and find such a deal. :thumbsup2 I can totally see your point with your annual pass expiring and all ;)

We went in September and we leave again for another trip on Monday. We also have a trip planned for June for my 50th birthday. I also want to try and get in one other trip before the APs expire next September.

I am almost ready to say why dont we just get a anual pass lol

(is there any ways to get 5day park hoppers turned in to anual passes for an extra fee (its not been 30 days yet)

No, not crazy at all! I do that every time! LOL We went twice this year with AP's and ours expire in the middle of June '08. So of course when we got back in Oct that was the first thing I started to think about. Plan one more trip before those AP's run out! LOL

Not sure if it's going to happen though. Were going to have some other financial obligations that will hit us in '08. So we'll have to see. May have to start planning a November Holiday trip for '09. Which will be so hard for me, we go every year! But we did go twice this year, and I am grateful as some people don't get to go that often. But we'll see. We haven't done a holiday trip in YEARS, so it will be something to look forward to if we can't make it in June.

We got home today from 5 days at DL, while there my friend who was with us had so mch fun one night from DL she called her timeshare and booked a week early next december. Since we got AP's for this trip, she just had to plan another. (she also wait listed for June and October.....)

How fun!

Yes, I always plan/book 11 months in advance.

That is what this site is all about. Hope on the Crazy train with the rest of us! :) I am an annual passholder and I have been in July of this year, Oct and just got back from a trip the first week of Dec and am going back in Feb for a week. I also go to Disney World every 3 years and have been planning my Nov 08 trip since my last trip in 05! :)

I already know that after our next trip in Feb we will be going back for sure to Disneyland in Feb of 09 and maybe sometime in between and we always know we will go at minimum once a year and probably more. That is the beauty of being passholders is being able to go whenever and if you don't have a pass we live in CA so we just go whenever we can.

Don't worry about him, he just "donesn't get it". ;)
