GREAT update!! You guys look so cute in the car at Sci-Fi! We are totally going to check that restaurant out when we go back.

Let me say, you are a trooper!! Not only did you deal so well with not being able to ride the rides, you also walked A LOT for a tired preggers lady! I am so impressed..you did not miss a beat:love:

SO happy you could report on Garden Grill. That was one that I was curious about. Looked AWESOME. Another one to put on the list!

Can't wait to see what TL looks like...I have never been!

Ha! I think I had a little more energy than J for most of the trip (sure did pay for it when I got home!).
Ohhhh!! The Garden Grill is soooo on the books for next trip! It was very yummy in the tummy!

Aww, I love the character pictures! Very cute. Glad you liked the Sci-Fi! We always got a kick out of the little video clips they play.

I figured J would like the Sci-Fi since he's kind of sci-fi nerd (mean that in a totally loving way!). And he did!

You know it!! She's going to be like my baby-doll for a while!
We're still throwing out a few names, but we may have it narrowed down shortly...hopefully!

Today is the day for Typhoon Lagoon!!
Now I'm one of those O.C.D. people that likes to work out even on vacation. So I promised I would try and hit the gym twice while we were here (I mean, we did walk a TON in the parks to make up for the missed days). So I got up at 5:15am :scared1: and went to the health club. I enjoy mornings to get the workout done, plus there's usually no one else there.
Afterwards, I got ready for the water park! Now I had read on several brochures that the buses start running an hour before the theme parks open. Okey dokey! We head down to the bus stop, coffee in hand for poor J, and get down there a little before 8. The first bus to pull up was for Magic Kingdom. The nice bus driver informed us that our bus wouldn't arrive until 30 minutes before T.L. opened. WHAT?!?! So sorry, J!! So we went back in and relaxed 'til it was time to head out...again!
We got to the bus stop around 8:20, the bus showed up at 8:22, and we got to T.L. at 8:31. Wow! They let folks in to get their lockers and such then made everyone wait until 9. I do have to mention that I have no pics from T.L. since I left my camera at the hotel. :guilty: The combo of water parks and fancy cameras just worries me, so I decided not to chance it.
Finally 9am came around and the gates opened! Again, these wonderful Boards offered guidance on how to maneuver the parks. We headed towards the right and got a spot in the shade looking at the wave pool. I knew we had to head towards the shark reef, but I wanted to get wet first. That tank water is not exactly warm from what I remember.
Now J, being the sweet hubby and daddy-to-be that he is, wanted to check all the rides before me. So we went to the Storm Slides first. J went up and I briefly chatted with the life guard.
"So is this ride really not good for pregnant women?"
"Uh...I can't say since I'm not a doctor. But I've seen plenty of pregnant women go down it. Then again, I've seen really pregnant women go down Humanga Kowabunga."
"Got 'cha! Thanks!"
As soon as J came down he had a smile on his face that confirmed I could ride it! Yay!!! (little did he know, I was going to ride it anyway, hehe!)
So we go down and it was not bad at all! Next, time for the Shark Reef!!
We got there and sat through the instructions then went in! Not quite what I remember, but still really cool!
Afterwards we headed towards Gangplank Falls. This is one of those big, family tube rides, so I didn't think much of it. I have to admit, there were a couple of rough points, but not too bad. J didn't like it for me at all! So we decided to have him try out the next one before me, May Day Falls. I waited patiently, thinking J would say it was just fine. It took him forever to get through the line since the crowds were growing by this point. Finally! There he is....with a frown on his face!
"Honey, that ride was really bumpy. More than the last one. I just wouldn't chance it."
"Ahhhhh....man!!"
So we decide to head over towards the wave pool! First big wave was awesome! I did just as folks on the Boards said: turn your back and jump as the wave hits! BAM!! Good stuff! But I lost J!! Oh! There he is, with a huge smile on his face. Turns out he actually tried to swim the wave! Uh...maybe I could do that??
WRONG!! That second wave (that I so graciously tried to swim with) filled my nose with water and almost took my bottoms!! Ya know, I think I'm gonna go back to the chair for a little while!
J came back to check on me and I told him we had to try those donuts everyone talked about! They were like beignets with chocolate glaze! Very yummy!! Afterwards I decided to stay put and work on my tan/take a snooze while J went to ride a few more slides. I ended up chatting with a woman from Rhode Island who was also pregnant. We swapped doctor stories and such. Of course this was her 4th pregnancy so she had a lot more to say than I did! J eventually returned and said he rode Humanga Kowabunga twice!! And also rode Crush 'n' Gusher!
I think we were both ready to head out by this point. It was after noon and the crowds were building. So we took the bus to the Beach Club to walk around a bit. Then we took the boat back to the Boardwalk and debated what to do for lunch. We walked to the pool area, Luna Park to see about swimming there, but it was really crowded. We sat at the pool bar for a bit but didn't have lunch since all they offered were deli-style sandwiches (which pregos aren't supposed to eat much of). The bartender suggested we head to the Boardwalk area for some grub. We decided on a pizza! Took it back to our room! It was pretty good!!

By this point, we were both pretty tired. So we relaxed and took a nap! We had a nice evening ahead of us with dinner at the Poly!!
Up next, will our expectations of O'hana be met, including the promised view of Wishes?!?!

my guess is you guys were hiding behind the wall and didnt get to see wishes:mad:
we had a fab spot right at front window
but deffo didnt enjoy the food as much as last year:confused3

Your TL day sounds like so much fun! :goodvibes Sorry you couldn't ride some of the big rides. And soooo sorry you got a nose-full of water! That is the worst. But yay for working on your tan :cloud9: Laying out is just so relaxing! The pizza looks yummy! Can't wait to hear about 'Ohana. We really wanted to eat there!
