No he works on the farm/ranch. Its funny before he fell he was talking to a paint crew foreman that paints all the steel grain bins. They are up about 100feet and do not harness in. The gut DH saw was wrapped around the pipe and painted as he slid down. they have to have million dollar coverage.

Dh has climbed up and down that ladder so many times, It could have been so much worse.

I worked with a guy that painted water towers and they didn't have much in the way of fall prevention in alot of instances. In fact he saw a guy fall to his death and that was his wake up call to get outta that line of work. People are crazy.

Your husband should inquire about acquiring things to make his job a tad safer. I understand with farm work there is a risk around every corner(DW had an uncle get his arm taken off by combine) but anything to make sure he comes home at night would help.
