hubby and child have one less fastpass than the rest of us

Hello,

My apologies if this has been discussed before. My daughter and I have a FP for A&E, but hubby and other daughter do not. I am wondering if I should book those two a different FP experience so it does not hold us up when we try for a 4th FP (don't we all need to use 3 before we get a 4th?)
With that said, how do I book them a FP experience at the same time as our A&E FP time? The other 2 FP booked are for all 4 of us and I don't want to screw those up. Help!!

They don't currently have a third FP. All 4 of us have a FP for Enchanted Tales with Belle and Peter Pan's Flight. Then my daughter and I each have a separate FP for A&E with overlapping times. There is nothing that shows up as a third FP for husband and other daughter.

Wow. I thought that was impossible I've never been able to book just two for a person even if I pick two it fills in a third automatically. I was going to tell you to go in and modify their FP for A&E and just select them and switch it to something else. I'm not sure how to make just one FP to fill it in. I suppose you could select modify for that day. Select just both of them and see if it gives you the option to fill in the third a lot.

They do need to use the third to get the fourth as far as I can tell. But if there isn't a third there maybe not. As I said I've never seen anyone have less than the set of three. I just tried and couldn't get it to let me make only two.
 

Can anyone help with this or have a similar experience? I don't want to risk the A&E fastpasses by fussing with MDE too much.

the exact thing happened to me. I was short a fastpass for my family. I also did not want to jeopardize my A&E fastpass by messing with it. I called MDE and had them add it. The first time I called for help the person refused to help. I called the next day and got another person who was able to input a Fastpass for us. But the fastpass they gave us is not able to be modified so make sure it is the one you want. Hope that helps.
 
I have several FP for DD and I with different ones for DH and DS - one of which is A&E and another is the Cinderella/Aurora M&G. I think when I first did it, I set up all 4 of us for A&E. I then modified the FP. It asks who you want to modify it for and I selected DS and DH. It then let me choose another FP for them. I just picked a close by attraction I thought they would like.

I don't know what you do if they have nothing selected. I assume it would show them with nothing and you could select something. Or try modifying your A&E fastpass. Nothing will happen until you hit update. See if modifying that one shows them and lets you select just them. (I hope that makes sense.)
 
Thank you for the replies. I think I will have to find the MDE number and call. I just want to FP the teacups for them.

They probably don't need one, but it's close by A&E and we can move on to a 4th FP when it's used.

Any thoughts on the MDE number?

I did manage to go into the website and copy over our fast passes to my husband and other daughter. I was able to get the remaining 2 fast passes to stay at the original times, while filling in their gap with the FP for the tea cups during our A&E meet.
