Hub walls and HalloWishes?

I *think* my favorite HalloWishes (and regular Wishes) viewing spot is now obstructed by construction walls but I'm not sure. Usually we park our butts on the ground right in front of Crystal Palace up against the railing that runs down past Casey's. We then have a slightly off center but unobstructed view of the castle and fireworks. Nobody can get in front of us because of the railing and the grass and water in front of it. From the pics I have seen I think there are now walls all along there. We usually sit near the X on this map:

Can anyone verify that for me? If so I will need to find a new spot, darn it. I like that spot because we can usually grab it not long before fireworks start.

Bumping this, have the same question for our September trip.

When I was there in May, there was a wall there. Not sure when they plan to take it down.

Thank you. It sure looks like there are walls in front of "my" railing. Off to decide on a new viewing location.

OP, I just wanted to say thanks for posting this question. I've been wondering the exact same thing about the MVMCP, and have been doing searches and scouring the boards and other sites for possible info. I guess we don't know at this point when the walls will go away, but it seems I'd better start coming up with a back up spot.

Oh shoot! I had done research and had wanted to try that spot. Does anyone know another place where the kids can see without having to look at the person in front's behind? I would like a place where they can see and I don't want to use a FP+ on it, if we can help it. Does the Tomorrowland Bridge work that way?
