What do you all think will be the status of the hub construction in August?

Permits expire in late fall so I would expect it to be fully completed around that time. The good majority should be done or close to being done in August but it will not be fully completed by then.

I think I read somewhere September would be the end date; however, Disney is doing this in phases so most of it could be done by September and the new castle turrets (house lighting towers and AV control stand) might be the last part of project to complete.

Doubt it will fully be done by September there is no announced completion date.

How much is the construction affecting the beauty of Main Street? That is always one of my favorite parts of a visit to MK: seeing the castle as I walk down Main Street. Are they doing a good job of hiding the construction?

Main Street is pretty much unaffected. They have been doing exterior refurbs so every few months it seems a new set of scaffolding goes up in front of a Main Street building.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be done by September, but I won't hold my breath. I would love to see it done as when we went last August the central hub lost a lot of the magic with all of the walls up. I'm excited to see it all open again.

I'd expect majority done by september but based on permits it will be a bit longer than that. Usually construction lasts pretty much up until permit experation.

All recent pics show it? It's been gone since mid March. It will probably be back late September.

Since it's been gone since March, not all recent pics show it - just all pics that I have seen lately. Apparently that doesn't necessarily mean that they are recent pics.

That's ok you're not the first in the last couple weeks to think it was still up. I think the fact that so many people talk about it and it has its own fake Twitter page doesn't help.
