HS transportation

We'd like to get to HS early enough to ride Mickey's Runaway Railway without having to wait in a line for a long time while the rest of the park is open.

1. How early should we arrive?
2. Should we bring our own vehicle or ride the bus to get in early? Uber is not an option because we have a lot of people, including a baby who needs her car seat.

If you have your own car, I would say to drive yourself. This way, you are in control of when you arrive. You'll want to arrive about 8:45 if the park opens at 10. Stay to the right so you can park on the side. If you go left, they will send you back around. They will hold cars back until approx. 9 and then let them to the booths.

Okay great. Why stay to the right? I'm just curious what the difference is and why everyone doesn't go right?

We drove to HS last time and they held everyone at the front for so long that resort guests on transit must have beat us in because the line for MMRR was very long before opening.
