HS shows and remodel?

I know we have limited information about the Hollywood studios remodel, because understandably it has not all been made vailable yet. I was wondering, though, if anybody has heard if the Beauty & Beast show and the Frozen sing-along show will be part of the new Hollywood Studios after the remodel? Thanks

Even throughout the rumor stage, there haven't been any whispers about changes being made to Sunset Blvd, so I would assume that the theater is safe. At some point, Beauty and the Beast is going to have to give way to something more current, but there hasn't been any mention of that. So for the time being, let's assume that it will continue to run, though personally, I would prefer to see the shows rotate. The Hunchback show was the best live performance that WDW ever had, and it is a shame that it cannot rotate in with Beauty.

As for Frozen, isn't the sing-along seasonal? Have seen nothing about keeping it or replacing it. But...the treatment that Frozen is getting seems pretty slap-dash and temporary until something more substantial and permanent can take its place. Will that be Epcot's makeover of Norway? Don't know. Personally, I would think that if DHS is going to get a major Pixar and Star Wars makeover, I don't see the fit for Frozen. So I would not be surprised to see the sing-along go away, or be moved elsewhere. Or remain seasonal.

Frozen is big. They have to continue it. As for Beauty and the Beast, I remember hearing rumors that it will be replaced by Tangled. That was a while ago so it might not be accurate.

Perhaps. But in the not too distant future, WDW will have opened a whole Frozen world in Epcot, while at the same time, moving DHS toward a complete overhaul. I'm not sure that splitting the Frozen theming between the two parks makes any more sense than it made to have a Little Mermaid show in DHS while at the same time opening a new Little Mermaid attraction in the MK. And we saw what that led to. Bye-bye DHS Mermaid theater. A counter argument to this would be that having a Frozen presence in DHS during the remodel would create a reason for people to head to that park who might otherwise skip it. But I'm not that cynical. I guess we just have to wait to see just how much Frozen stuff there is in Epcot to figure out if more Frozen stuff needs to be placed elsewhere.
