HS Moonlight Magic vs MK EMH

Just looking for input on the "value" of MM vs EMH.

We have tickets for MM at HS on March 27th, but that is also the only PM EMH at MK during our trip. I know that given the choice between the two parks, our group would pick MK without hesitation. But, it's also an extremely busy spring break week so I'm wondering if MK will be so crowded that it would be impossible to enjoy and the time would be better spent at HS.

MM will have much less people than EMH and will offer things that are not offered with EMH (free food, rare characters, dance party). If you really just prefer to spend more time at MK then do that but otherwise I'd be going with MM.

10 pm to 12am EMH at MK during spring break will be a mad house in my opinion. I have been to MK MM twice now, but not MM at HS. We plan to be at EPCOT MM in May. There were a lot rides open at MK MM and not many people. It all depends if you feel HS has enough rides to make it worth your time. The lights in Toy story land area are fantastic at night. Have a good time!

10 pm to 12am EMH at MK during spring break will be a mad house in my opinion.

This is exactly my concern. I keep hoping with the high attendance during that week that they would extend park hours. EMH from 12-2 would be less crowded, but 10 is still early enough that a lot of people will stay in the park.

We attended MM last Oct. It was fun and not nearly as crowded as any EMH I’ve attended at MK. They had several special characters if that’s something you are into and the waits except Slinky were minimal. We did wait maybe 30 min or so for Slinky but it’s the new kid on the block and to be expected. The free meal vouchers and ice cream were a nice touch too. I prefer MK to DHS in general but I wouldn’t do MK Emh over dhs MM personally

Thanks for the input. Do they post details of the event in advance? My oldest has about 10 different Disney bounding outfits packed already for this trip so I’m sure she would like to coordinate her clothes for a special character meet.
