HS FP+ advice needed

Wondering if I show rebook our Star Tours FP+ or leave it to expire for a Sat in late August. We currently have a Slinky Dog FP+ at 4:50, with Star Tours and Muppet Vision for 8:20AM and 9:20AM. Since we have now decided to arrive at HS later in the afternoon, we will miss both the earlier FP+. Muppetvision was a throwaway so we could try to get TSM as a 4th FP. We have dinner at SciFi right after Slinky Dog, so couldn't rebook till after 7. To make the most of this day, should we change the FP+ for Star Tours for after dinner, or leave it to expire so we can attempt to get a TSM immediately after tapping in for Slinky? If the odds are good that we'll get a TSM regardless, I'd like to rebook Star Tours so we can use it. We'll be staying in the park to watch the Star Wars fireworks at 10pm, so any time up till the preshow will work for a new FP.

I would modify your morning FP’s. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble getting on TSM in the early evening.

I would just move them to evening, you'll have no problem. TSMM is a walk on ride the last 20 minutes the park is open, so jump on it then.

Can you move Star Tours to right before your ADR? If Muppet vision is a throw away, leave that one.

Why not get Star Tours at 3:50-4:50? You could do that at the end of that hour period and then go to TSL. Or do it at 3:50 and then you have time to spend in TSL before SDD, maybe standby for AS2 or TSM. Not sure exactly what time you are getting to the park (you say late afternoon) but how about:
3:50 - Fastpass Star Tours
4:10 - Standby for TSM or AS2 depending on timing at that time
4:50-5 - Fastpass SDD

I'd try to get the Star Tours FP+ right before your Slinky Dog FP+. Even if nothing is available right now, FP+ times open up all the time, you just have to keep checking!

Like most have said, I would go for Star Tours right before Slinky. No use is "wasting" it if you will be headed over there anyways...
