Hubby and I are going in April and will have 1 day hopper tickets. As of now, we will do AK in the morning and Epcot in the evening. We are staying at Dolphin so I was thinking of AK morning with EMH, bus to HS, walk/boat to Dolphin to re-charge, Epcot for evening.

We have never been to HS but will be going with the kids in November, so on my end, I'd like to just pop in and get my bearings for the future trip. But I know hopping to just to pop in isn't that simple. We are not interested in Star Wars, nor would we do RnR or ToT. We will be using FP that day at AK, so not sure if we could get Toy Story at HS after that. Skip and just get to Epcot earlier or stay at AK longer or take a longer break at Dolphin?

Thanks!

If you don't want to actually ride or see anything at DHS, i'd skip it.

And, I'm not saying that because you are "adults."
Since you listed not intending to ride the attractions with the
taller rider restrictions, I'd think that you'd not want to waste the time
it would take just to walk around the park.

Other than those rides you’ve really only got some shows...unless you’re interested in Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast etc I’d think it makes sense to just study the map. The park isn’t huge by any sense and you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t think any toy story fast passes will be left.

Agree with the others - under your circumstances it will be better to skip HS and simply go to Epcot when you are finished with AK. I would try to getTest Track or Soarin' FP+ as soon as you are finished your AK FP+'s.

ENJOY YOUR DAY!

I would skip DHS and just spend more time at AK. It's a fun park but if you aren't specifically interested in anything there, I wouldn't make it a priority to visit, especially since the design of the park is not like Magic Kingdom or AK where the aesthetic is an attraction in itself (imo), especially since there's a lot of construction and whatnot in there right now.

Three parks is a lot to cram into one day. I'd stick with AK in the morning/early afternoon and Epcot in the late afternoon/evening.

Thanks everyone. Confirmed what I was thinking! An unknown park pulls me though. We will be so close. That's ok though, it will be a suprise in November!

We are AP holders and I got at least twice a year, last year went 4 times on my AP and my son goes at least once a year, he went 3 times this year on his AP. We often do the AK, HS, Epcot switch in one day. We also stay in the Epcot resorts, lately Swan/Dolphin tends to be where we stay just because of the cost. We will start out at AK (we rarely do rope drop but get there close to park opening) do the rides we want to ride and are out of the park by 11 or so. We will hop over to HS and catch ToT and maybe TSMM then walk to Epcot.

If all you want to do is step into the park and other than TSMM have zero intrest in othe attractions until you take the kids then just skip it.
Personally for me HS is a must no matter the crowd I'm with.
I'm not really into Star Wars either but I will be going on Star Tours my next trip as my friend enjoys it.

I generally do not recommend skipping any park. I particularly enjoy enough of the attractions at HS to make a full day, and then enjoy hopping in for favorites to repeat. However, OP seems to not be interested in any of the attractions, or in the meal at 50s Prime Time that is a do not miss for me. (I once went to HS on my departure day just to eat there.) Therefore I do recommend that in this case, OP skip HS.

Brown Derby - either inside or in that street level bar area outside - is a decent spot for adults. I'd go to HS just to grab a drink in the outside bar area if I had some time to kill. One of the few places in the parks to get a quality mixed drink. If I didn't have the time, I could easily skip.

Have fun OP!

This is actually a good tip. When I asked my husband if he would be up for park hopping a bit, he said, "can't we just drink???" Ha. Now I can propose a drink at each! As far as I am aware....there isn't a "bar" anywhere at MK, or is there?

Lol, yeah, no bars at MK. You can only get an adult beverage at the table service restaurants, and even then the menu is very limited (beer, wine, no mixed drinks). But plenty of quality places at Poly, GF, CR, or WL - so not too far away. :-)
