Trying to decide which dinner to go with... we like the looks of the Sci-Fi Dine In, it seems really unique and cool. Like the menu and atmosphere at
50's Prime Time. Like the idea of the Fanstasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine. We have never seen Fantasmic but I won't cry if I miss it. Which would you go with? Would it be worth it to go back to HS a second time so we can pick two of these? Thanks!!

IMO - 50s prime time is a fun night if the group is willing to actively participate. Sci-Fi for me was an interesting atmosphere but the food was bad and oversalty. H&V buffet and Mama Melrose are both nice resturants and the Fantasmic package is the way to go if you want to see the show - but the menu is limited at MM if you are doing the Fantasmic package.

For the Fantasmic Package, I would go to Brown Derby --- much better food than Mama Melrose and I didn't care for Hollywood and Vine's dinner (or lunch) at all. If on the dining plan, Brown Derby is 2 credits. If you do a fantasmic package reservation (must do by phone), appetizers are included.

For us, we need 2 days at Hollywood Studios... get there early in the morning one day, leave at dinner time (go to other park). Another day, get there for early lunch and stay through Fantasmic. Something like that.

The fantasmic package dinner times are early (4pm ish) so we do a breakfast or very early lunch 11am.

50s Prime Time was a lot of fun, great filling food... milkshakes were incredible. I'd go back a 2nd day just for that.....
