HS and 7 PM Dinner question

I finally scored a dinner reservation for Hollywood Studios after trying since last Friday. Finally. With that said, it is a 7 PM reservation time. Will we miss anything with a dinner reservation that late at HS in November? Thank you.

The projections on the tower of terror run all night, so you will see that. The jingle bell jingle Bam show is supposed to return, but not sure what time it would show.

Not likely as any show that will be happening, most likely will be after that. It all depends on park hours. checking the posted times is your best bet. Then you can try to adjust dining times if needed.

I was wondering the same thing. We do reservations Tuesday and I’m trying to figure out timing . I thought 7:00 would be a good time , but not sure what will be going on before closing. The park is open 9:00-9:00.

Nothing much that can't be seen/done at other times.
6PM would be a better time for dinner if you want to see/do anything following dinner.
(BTW, why didn't you say the name of your restaurant?)

I haven’t made reservations yet. I’m going to try for Sci Fi. If we can’t get that I’ll try for 50’s Prime Time.

Sci-Fi Dine-In meal can take an hour or less (sometimes much less.)
50's PrimeTime can take 90 min. or so.

Each can be late to be seated.

Yeah, keep this in mind. We've often been seated 15-30 minutes late for Sci-Fi so make sure that won't mess up your plans.
As others said, it tends to move faster though since most people are transfixed on the screen and mostly talking to their seat-mate. At least that's been our experience.

Yes by the time you are done eating there may not be much time until closing.

Thanks everyone. We have reservations at 7 PM at 50s. We will keep trying for something a bit earlier. There are no other option for anything right now. Wasn't any options when the dining reservations came open but this 50s one popped up later and we grabbed it for now.

I got a 7:15 Sci Fi. Not thrilled, but at least I got one.

SciFi was our first choice for HS but could not get a reservation when they opened up. Same with Oga's.

Yes there are no reservations now for either of those and I did mine yesterday .

Why not try for a late afternoon/early dinner? Eat a big breakfast then snack your way till your reservation. I wouldn't want to waste the last two park hours on dining.

We could do that but would be eating fast food there then and it wouldnt be table service. We have been trying all day, every day, to get reservations since the ADR opened and this was the ONLY one that came up for our day at HS. Well, Melrose was there but not going there.

I think this a good idea, if we can get a reservation. Crowds drop before closing and it’s a good time to ride.
