Got family to agree to venture out of WDW for 2 nights of our vacation....we will be checking out of YC and into HRH on Dec 6...would like to use that day to finish touring WDW and not do IOA yet. However, I've read people complaining of poor room location when they checked in late....any thoughts?

If Dec 6 is a weeknight, you should be fine. I would take any room at the HRH. They're all nice, and you will have FOTL to boot.
