I am trying to decide between a deluxe room at HRH for 179.00 or RPR waterview for 159.00 using my AAA discount and Loews gold card,I have stayed at RPR and really liked it but I have also heard some really great things about HRH but just as many bad reviews from people who were very disappointed in the hotel,I have considered splitting the stay but I am also doing that at Disney and don't really want to spend my whole vacation changing hotels. So I am looking for the advice from the people who feel strongly one way or another about these hotels.
Thanks for your help!!!! :)

I've stayed at both RPR & HRH. I personally prefer RPR. I like the atmosphere of RPR better. Plus, I love that's is the closest hotel to IOA & City Walk. IOA is my favorite of the 2 parks so the closer I am to it, the better. HRH is definitely a nice hotel and the deluxe room will be larger than the room at RPR. But, if I had to make the same decision that you are, I'd choose RPR...no question about it. On the other hand, maybe you'll love HRH even more than RPR. HRH is really close to US. Have you seen pics of an HRH deluxe room? Maybe that'll help you with your decision. Here's a link to a virtual tour of one of the rooms....

How many people are in your party. As AllieKat said, the deluxe at the HRH will be bigger. I have stayed in both hotels and would go with the rate and room type I want. I loved them both. Found the RPR to be more laid back and quiet around the pool.

I think for just that much more I would go for the bigger room at the HRH. The standard room at the RPR was just too small. We also like the breakfast buffet at the Kitchen and the Velvet Lounge at the HRH very much so if we can stay HRH for just a little more than RPR, we do. Either way, you really can't go wrong.

I've stayed at both and prefer HRH. The rooms were bigger and I liked the walk better and the pool better.

Thanks for all the advice,it is just myself going so I don't need alot of space I really am looking for the best quality and I would like to make sure the room is quiet at night so I can get a good nights sleep, so I will have lots of eenergy to go to the parks in the morning.thanks for the help!!! :)

I found the RPR to be a lot more quiet than the HRH. If it's just you and you're looking for quiet, then stay at RPR.

I agree. For your situation I think RPR fits what you are looking for. :) Its a beautiful property and tranquil.
