I'd like to start by saying thank you to all of the people who helped make our trip wonderful. I never really had to ask any questions because most were answered on these boards at some point. Hope my trip report will answer for some one else.

The first day we went to Sea world and it was very nice. We saw a Pets Ahoy show that was cute and we saw Shamu and that was a great show. But that was it. We didn't do too much else. My husband rode the Kraken roller coaster and we did the Atlantis ride (pretty cool) but we got reeeaallly tired (we were in disney for a couple days) so we left to go to the Hard Rock and check in.

We had a concierge room that overlooked a little courtyard( you could see the Portifino) Our room was really nice (pictures of Paul McCartney, Tom Petty. It was a standard room but we never felt like we were squished together. My husband loved it. The concierge food was good for breakfast plenty of bagels, cream cheese, jellies, croissants, muffins, donuts, about 8 different cereals, great coffee , different teas and fruit. The staff wasn't over friendly but i liked that they let us do our thing. For the evening it was wines, and 3 different beers, miller and heinekan and bud? I suggested that they try to use different beers for the Rock star clients(haha)they would have cheese and maybe chips and something else like spinach and artichoke dip. The cookies and milk were okay, I mean they used chips ahoy. They had other baked cookies so If you liked peanut butter you got a fresh baked cookie.
We loved IOA my favorite of course was Spiderman -it was awesome . Ioa was my favorite of all the parks, Dr Seuss was a big hit with my son.
Universal our favorite was MIB and i must tell you that my Score was around314,000 and I was pretty impressed since we wonthe round and had never played before (but I kept shooting like someone had said to) .

Also I think that water slide at the HRh is the best !! We all must have went on it like 20 times. I didn't go near any of the restuarants inside the hotel since I heard they were expensive.
We put my son in Camp little rock one night and he loved it. They gave us a beeper just in case they needed us for anything. We went to the Latin Quarter and the food was good but we got a little tipsy from the Marguaritas so its hard to remember. If I think of anything else I will write more tomorrow. Hope this helps someone out there..

Thank you for posting. It sounds like you had a great time, especially at the HRH pool! DH likes the staff at HRH - the fact that they do leave you to yourself and yet, are there when you need anything. But, I do notice that they interact with the kids more, so I definately think it is their policy.

My family, (DH, DS 10, and myself) have a club level room booked for October. I'm starting to rethink this. After reading all the posts on the boards, it seems that there just isn't enough extras to justify the added expense. Would you stay in the club level again? Due you feel it was worth the added expense? If so, would you care to explain why? I need an honest opinion on this. Pros and cons would be great. Could you also explain any other special perks related to staying Club level, other than the limited food.

We have never stayed concierge before and thought it would be nice to treat ourselves for our 10th anniversary. (We stay at FW in our RV when we go to WDW.) I just don't want to get there and be disappointed. I'm sure I can think of a better way to spend $100+ a day, if it's just not worth it. Thanks so much for your help and patience with all the questions! :Pinkbounc

I thought it was worth it for the conierge level for a few reasons.
1. We wanted access to the cd library
2. I did not want to wait for tables everymorning to have a big breakfast , we had our continental breakfast and it filled us and I think it got us to the parks quicker.
3. I liked having a few drinks when we got back from the parks and just relaxing for a while.
4.I could go and get soda and water and coffee when ever we wanted it. The restuarants in the hard rock hotel are expensive and I think if we did not have the concierge level -we would have spent more. or gone without and I don't like to skimp when I am on vacation. Water alone $2.25 a day per bottle and we were each drinking atleast 3 bottles a day.
I also did concierge level because I never did it before and wanted to experience it.
The next time I go I probably won't do it because I want to try out one of the kid suite rooms and those rooms do not have access to concierge level.
OH, one other perk was that we needed to get my son into Camp little rock last minute on a friday night and the staff took care of it right away. He loved it.All and all it was a good experience. I was not wowed over by it. But I think I got a little de sensitized by other conceirge reports on these boards. Hope this helps with your decision.
