We had a deluxe room at HRH. I recommend this size room for anyone with 5 on their trip. Last time we stayed at HRH we had a regular room and a roll away bed and it was very tight space. The deluxe room had a sofa bed and a dressing area. It was very comfortable.
1st day - Check-in but room not ready. Went to Universal Studios. Saw the Ghostbuster show with Beetlejuice. Rode the new Jimmy Neutron ride, the 1st time on the vehicle didn't seem to move very much so rode it again and the 2nd time it worked. Also, saw Shrek twice. Rode everything with front of the line even though it was a little crowded. Ate lunch at Monster Cafe. It was OK. Left by 4pm and ate at The Kitchen. The service was good and the food was good. My husband, daughter and I had the reuben sandwiches. YUM. My oldest son had fish and chips. He said they were good. Went over to IOA and rode Spiderman and Hulk a few times. Saw the Grinch. He was so rude and played his part so well. All I could do was laugh. My daughter started to walk out the wrong door. Boy, he caught her, and teased her about being a blonde and should be in Clariol commercials and actually harrassed her all the way out the door. All we could do is laugh. Being a teen I thought she might take it offensively but she did not and laughed too. She was a good sport.
2nd day - Went to IOA. Not as crowded as yesterday. Rode all the rides except the water rides due to it being chilly and even the teens did not want to get wet. My sons favorite was riding in the front of fire and ice. He said it was awesome & the best was to blue one(his words). Ate lunch at Confisco. It was good. Saw the Whoville show. The makeup was really good. Everyone enjoyed the show. We rode Spiderman and Hulk (our favorite rides) and least 4 times each. Left about 3pm and went to the pool and spa. A little chilly for swimming for me but not for our 11 yr old. He loves the slide. Showered and went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Yummy. I had a cob salad that was HUGH. Everyone enjoyed their meal and then we shopped at City Walk. My daughter spent alot of time in Fossil store.
3rd day - Checked out after coffee and donuts from Starbucks. Headed over the Boardwalk Villas at WDW.
Loved HRH, front of the line, and Universal parks as always.
