HRH renovations - fold out included?

Just wondered if the remodeling meant new fold outs or new mattresse for foldout couch in the deluxe rooms. If anyone happens to know............

Good question! I haven't seen any pictures of the new deluxe rooms that would show if the pullouts are new or not.

The sofa's are new - sleek brown style. I didn't check out the mattress nor take any pictures though. I remember the old ones were very uncomfortable, so hopefully these are better.

I would hope that they replaced the pull-outs. I stayed there in May and October and the sofa beds were just shameful both times! It wouldn't be such a big deal if they didn't charge so much more for a deluxe room, but the price difference is considerable. Still love the hotel, though, even with my many complaints...

Yesterday I called to try and find out if we could reserve one and I was told no, you have to ask for it at check in and then it is the luck of the draw as to who gets them first???? We are staying on the 7th floor. I am just confused as to why I can't reserve one if you are paying more for it???? Can anyone shed some light on that?

If you are staying in club, there is no extra charge for the deluxe room. It is luck of the draw. You can request one but it isn't guaranteed.

Okay, now I understand, if we stayed on a different floor it would cost more so we could reserve it, but because we are staying club, its the same price and just a perk, gotcha. Just wish we could lock it in. I am hoping that there is one left when we get there.
