HRH questions

How high is the pool slide at the HRH? Is there a height restriction? Do they offer life vests at the pool?

Are there washer/dryer facilites at HRH? Not that I want to do laundry on vacation, but I do want to pack lightly and with a family of 5 on vacation for a week, it would be great to wash one load of clothes during the week.

You walk up a good bit to the slide - but it's not any mega height or anything - it's got a couple of turns in it. I don't know about height restrictions.

There's definitely a laundry room because we used it! We were on the 3rd floor - which is one above the lobby - and we had one at the end of our hall.

There were not any height restrictions at the Portofino Bay last August. My 2 1/2 year old was going down over and over. I hope there is not one at the Hard Rock, because this is one of the reasons we are staying there. They had plenty of life vests there too, and up to a certain height were required to wear one. I saw a fairly big kid required to wear one.

The Hard Rock definately had vests at the slide for the little ones. Ahhhhh....the Slide.....Brings back awesome memories!!!! I need to go back to the Hard Rock!!!!

We just got back yesterday and my kids used the slide quite a bit. The kids told me that they make you wear a life jacket (provided) if you were under 48". My daughter had to wear one once, then asked them to messure her since she can swim.
