HRH pool movie?

Hi, just wondering the pool movie they show, do they only have that on Saturday night? Or do they show it other nights too? This sounds really cool, I would like to try to be there for this...thanks....amy

I was wondering if they do it year round? When we syayed there during the summer it was on Saturday night.

I have been there twice and have not seen any movie yet because it rained both times just before the movie. Maybe next trip and both times it was saturday.

The pool movies (3 weeks back) were Bill and Teds excellent adventure and Waynes World. They only play on Friday nights. On Saturdays it is concert nights at the pool area.

figures Friday is the only night we won't be staying and we were looking forward to the pool movie. O-Well what kind of concert did they have?

When i was there they had a party band that covered all kinds of roch-n-roll songs. The funny thing was when a guest said when are they going to play hip hop! I just busted out laughing and said, did you know your staying at THE HARD ROCK not the rap hotel. All i can say is if your looking to hear anything other then R&R stay somewhere else.

I have no idea. That is the only time we've stayed at HRH. They use the same big screen to put on the concerts as they do the movies. We didn't watch the Goonies but it was neat to watch the concert. My 14 y/o son thought it lame as they didn't have his rap garbage. Just old peoples stuff, he said! LOL!

Oh, I thought the band was there "live".

I was there for the HRH's birthday bash when they had a huge live concert on the beach section of the pool area. It was pretty cool.

Our last trip it was quite windy at the pool area - too much for the big screen........ so, they made a pajama party in the lobby area and brought down pillows, blankets and brought the screen indoors. They passed around bowls of popcorn and good bags for the kids..... You would not believe it, but you did not hear one peep from the kids that night the whole time....... that was amazing to me.........

Billy Idol was there for that visit hanging around the pool and taking pics w/ people.

Last 4th of july Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister was wading in the pool and hanging around. I was going to say what's up captain howdy but why bug him. I was taking pictures with my daughter around the pool and i think he thought i was trying to take a picture of him, NOT! I would not waste my time. What would i do with it? Most people dont even know who he is.
