HRH kidsuite vs clublevel can you have both?

I am torn between a kids suite and club level. I am traveling with myself, my husband a 7 year old and a 2 year old. Because of how small the kids are, I do not want adjoining rooms. I liked the kids suite because the kids would have to go through our room to get to the hall. But I like the amneties that club level offers. Do they have kids suites on club level? Is it possible to book a kids suite then request club level at check-in? Should I book now then apply discounts later or should I wait to book until discounts come out?

I am not positive but I think I remember hearing that only "club suites" are available on the 7th floor. Kids suites I believe are few at the Hard Rock maybe 14 total? They are not located Club Level. The standard club room is 375 sq feet. Give them a call to see if you could book a kids suite and add club level ammenities.
Good Luck

When I booked a Kid's suite (at HRH) for Dec. the "Loew's person" told me that I could upgrade to "Club level" for an extra charge if there was availability when I checked in. My confirmation letter says that on it,too. I don't know if that means I would upgrade to a different kind of suite at Club level or if there are actual Kid's suites at Club level. That's just the info I was given.

According to the info on this board, there are 2 kidsuites available on Club Level but it's first come first served. If they're occupied when you check in you have to take a regular kidsuite.

When I booked my kidsuite a few weeks ago, the CSR gave me the same info that nhrenee reported above. That there are two kidsuites on Club, but it's just the luck of the draw whether you get club floor or a regular floor.

I have used both, kid's suite and club level (although not at the same time). If I had to choose with a 7 and 2 year old I would go with the kid's suite. The club lounge is okay but not as good as most four star hotels. It is small and often quite crowded and thus hard to navigate with two small children. The kid's suite is really roomy with two single beds, a seperate tv in the kids room, a table and a big stuffed animal. It was really charming. The parent's room has a king bed, tv, couch and large bathroom with a walk in closet. I loved the walk in closet because we kept all our bags in thier and the room felt so much more organized! If you join Loews First you can still request cookies and milk or wine at night. We were so busy in the parks, etc that we did not utilize the club lounge that much, except for breakfast. Have a great time whatever you decide!

Thanks for all your replies. I booked a kids suite at rack rate so that I know I have this type room and then I'm going to keep my eye out for Entertainment, Fan Club, All Access, etc. and apply discounts. Does anyone know what rates for Kids Suites looked like in June 2002? We will be there from the 17th-20th. I will request club level when we get there and if it's available all the better.:Pinkbounc

Has anyone ever gotten a kids suite at a discounted rate?

Yes! We have a kids suite reserved for Nov. and got a discount with AAA and AP. They told me that they do not ever have the entertainment discount for these suites. I also think that they have a fan club discount that is better then AAA or AP. (that discount was sold out when I called for our trip)
