Just wondering if the pool view room is worth the price difference? If yes, is there a specific area/room number I should be looking at trying to get? :confused3
If no, what is a good garden view area?
**I will be travelling with an 11 year old and an 8 year old and it will be a weekend in August.

Thanks for your help!!

I personally think the pool view is worth the extra money. Some of the garden view rooms at HRH have parking lot views which I don't care for. If you decide to go pool view, you should request a room on floor 5 or 6. I would suggest rooms ending in 084-090 or 058-052. put a 5 or 6 in front depending on the floor. These rooms are also very close to the elevators.

I totally agree that at HRH a poolview is worth the extra $. They have some rooms considered gardenview that I would hate getting.

We always get poolview and request room 6090. Not only does it have a view of the pool, but you can see the parks as well. :cool1:

We just stayed in 6130. We were far from the elevator, but I think it was much quieter down where we were! It was only a pain going for ice. Down on that end you don't get as much of a park view, but it is very pretty. I could lay on the bed at night and watch the guitar spin around! They had originally put us in 6052 which had a great view, but it is a king room and we needed 2 queens.

Our first trip the pool view was a bit of a disappointment - directly underneath the HRH sign on the building looking towards the pool, but we had a flat roof beneath us and that was all you could see that way, and the pool was obscured by a huge plam tree. But heck, we were only staying a couple of nights, so weren't too bothered. The next time I mentioned we were disappointed and sounds like we were in the 6090 area since we had a HUGE corner room with wonderful views of the pool and the parks - my DD was ecstatic since she could watch her fave ride - Hulk - all the time we were in the room :cool1:

Well, I have stayed in both pool and garden views in the HRH and I prefer the garden view. It's not like there's a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view. I don't tend to stand in front of a window and look outside (plus we're not in the room that much). When we were in a pool view I could here the bass from the music at the pool.

I've stayed in both also. Last time we had a pool view the palm trees blocked any view at all! The garden views are lovely and since there is no balcony we don't pay the extra anymore. We do love this hotel!
