After declining an upgrade to concierge at the WL last November, I was going to book a Club level room at the HRH to help cut down on food costs. A coworker told me that they stayed on Club level (June 2002) and she'd never stay there again. She told me they had "weird" food such as pate and other things kids wouldn't eat. She felt it wasn't worth the extra $$.

Can anyone tell me what food they've had at club level recently?

We are going in July iand I booked the club level. two of my friends went at 2 different times and stayed in Club Level and said that it was great. they had all kinds of normal food for Kids matter of fact both families said that the happy hour every night was there dinner and their kids loved it!!!

We stayed on the club level last Christmas and loved it. The food was very kid friendly- mini hot dogs, veg. and dips, mexican dips, pastas, chicken wings, ect. I never remember pate! Breakfast was cereal, donuts, bagels, juices. In the evening they brought out cookies and milk. At night they turned down the beds and left little trinkets on your pillows. My teenagers even loved it. I was able to get a great rate through hotelkingdom.com last year- under $200/night. We would love to go again this Christmas and stay on club level, but so far I am seeing no great bargains out there. Please, anyone let me know if you come across any great rates for this time of year!! We can't wait to return.

Paige3 - Do you feel that the club level ultimately saved you $$$ because you spent less on food?

Yes, I think that I definitely saved money. I have 3 teens that are hungry all of the time! We never had to buy breakfast. Honestly, you could almost make a meal out of the evening happy hour, but that also takes the fun out of trying all of the great restaurants at City Walk and the resorts. Throughout the day there was always waters, juice, coffee, fruit to grab- that saved $$. I guess the bottom line is, if you can get a good rate for club level. Staying there made the vacation that much more special!
